Description

Moving and handling people constitutes a risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) for caregivers in any environment, regardless of the clientele. This online theoretical training is a starting point for preventing this type of risk. After completing the training, you will receive a preliminary certification. This is NOT a PDSP card.

Workers who want to obtain the PDSP card must complete the practical training with a PDSP instructor.  Contact the PDSP instructor in your establishment or check out this list of instructors who offer the practical training for workers.

Objectif d’apprentissage

At the end of this training, you will be able to protect yourself from MSDs when moving and handling people.

Clientèle visée

All workers who provide people with direct care or services, as well as managers, care prescribers and  safety practitioners from their establishment

CISSS, CIUSSS, university health centre (CHU) or institute staff members must complete this training on the ENA platform.
